What is a refuge?

A refuge is an emergency confidential address where you can live temporarily with your children if you are escaping domestic abuse.  Refuge is a safe place where there are staff available to support you in deciding what you want to do next.

In our refuge, you have the use of a furnished bedroom and small kitchen. Some family rooms are ensuite others have a shared bathroom plus the shared use of communal facilities including:

• Residents’ Lounge

• Laundry Room

• Pay phone

• Playroom

• Secure garden
